Our History

A model built around your physician

Integrated Wellness, Massage Therapy and Acupuncture has been in existence since 1993, treating thousands of patients who have suffered from either chronic pain or acute injuries. Our business model includes contracting with physicians in order to implement a massage therapy program and acupuncture within their existing practice.

This accomplishes not only providing a high level of patient care via manual therapies, but also improving the physician's patient retention rate — keeping recovery and continuity of care under one roof.

An increasing number of consumers are seeking massage specifically to manage and relieve pain. The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations has suggested massage as an effective, drugless therapy for pain management.

How we work with tissue

Our medical massage therapists use a range of manual techniques to normalize body tissue and ease pain — increasing circulation, relaxing muscles, and reducing tissue swelling.

  • Deep tissue massage — releases chronic tension held deep in muscle fibers.
  • Myofascial release — loosens restricted connective tissue for better mobility.
  • Trigger point therapy — targets specific points of referred pain.
  • Osteopathic & cranial-sacral techniques — gentle, whole-body approaches to pain relief.

What that means for you

These techniques can be applied to promote healthy scars, unstick adhering tissue, improve lymph circulation, and soothe irritated nerves — often reducing the need for pain medication.

  • Promotes healthy scars after surgery or injury.
  • Unsticks adhering tissue restricting movement.
  • Improves lymph circulation to reduce swelling.
  • Soothes irritated nerves for lasting comfort.
